How would I go about getting a job on wall street after graduation?
I am a 20 year old accounting major with a 3.6 gpa. I am willing to work upwards of 60 hours a week for 25k a year. I just really want to work on wall street and I am unsure of how to start when I graduate in a few years….
If you live in or around NYC, your best bet is to apply for an internship in one of these companies now. Getting an internship will allow you to gain experience (which is HUGELY profitable) and will allow you to get your foot in the door. If you do well in the intern program, the company is likely to hire you full-time after graduation.
Your school should have an internship or employment office. Take a trip there and find out about internships on Wall Street.
If you don't live in NYC, get an internship anyway in the field that you would like to work in the future. What specifically do you want to do with your accounting degree? Find a company specializing in whatever that is and try to intern with them.

Do big finance firms recruit at your university? That is usually a good way to get in. If there is an application data base in your college use it, a career office, and job fairs. Also do all the interviews you can. That's how I got into a Big 4 accounting firm.
I'm also sure you have a few companies in mind… so why not personally contact their main HQ probably in NYC and let them know you're interested in an internship (which is the best place to start… and if you haven't yet done an internship you should immediately get on this. Talking about experience in an interview is always better than talking about your grades.). They will tell you how to apply and if they want to interview you they will fly you to wherever you need to go.
