how do I add nasdaq exchange to the iphone stock application?

I have an iPhone, but I can't figure out how to show the Nasdaq exchange in the stocks application.

Tap the i button in the lower left corner of the stock app to add a new symbol. In the search, enter ^IXIC to choose the NASDAQ composite.
